Introduction  

This guide aims to show you how to use zoom’s built-in capabilities to stream through RTMP to live stream to your existing Sliq solution. It is important to note that Zoom supports recording natively from the application as a backup for the archive/VOD.  

REQUIREMENTS  

  • A pro zoom account  

  • RTMP Stream link (provided by Sliq)  

  • Zoom App Installed  

  • Meeting is scheduled in Harmony  

Steps 

Initial Setup  

  1. Log in to your pro zoom account  

2) Click on “My Account” on the top right of the page  

3) Click on “Settings” on the right toolbar with all the various options  

4) Scroll down until you find the settings called: Allow live streaming meetings  

5) Turn on “Custom Live Streaming Service” and enter the information in the text field that is provided by Sliq. This information will allow you to setup the streaming each time you do a meeting without having to look for the information each time. It should look as below:

Hosting a Meeting  

  1. On the main zoom page, click “Host A Meeting” on the top right toolbar  

  

  1. Once the application opens, click on “More” on the bottom toolbar, then click on Live on Custom Live Streaming Service

  1. This will bring you to a web page to enter the streaming information. Copy paste the information we entered in the initial setup into the correct fields
