Sliq offers two methods of displaying Closed Captioning.
Overlay method
The overlay method is primarily used by customers who value Captions that are prominent, the black box that contains the CC will appear for a few seconds before and after speech. It is placed in the bottom middle of the actual video, this obscuring some portions of video but giving a highly visible caption.
Below video
The below method is primarily used by customers who want to highlight video instead of Captions, the black box that contains the CC will appear below the video. It is placed in the bottom middle below the the actual video, leaving a clear video.
To make this happen add or set to "True" the showCCAtBottom parameter in the
powerBrowser section of XRender.
