Harmony offers an easy way to define and set a default Thumbnail for each meeting to help you and your viewers identify quickly different meeting icons/templates.
If the Thumbnail is not set at the Template level, it can still be defined within each meeting as they get scheduled. Although, if the thumbnail is not set, a broken image link will show up :
To define the default Thumbnail, when creating or updating a Meeting Template, follow these simple steps
- Login on your Harmony server
- On [Administrate], go to the [Meeting Template] section which shows all meeting templates already present in your system
- Edit or create a new meeting template and go under the [Advanced] Tab
- The Thumbnail URL can be set under the Icons section
- Ideal and recommended Aspect ratio is 4:3
- Background use can match the video format (16:9/HD)
- Thumbnail recommended format would be 80x60px
- Supported format are JPG, PNG and GIF
- Thumbnail URL will be used for the meeting background when not started yet
- If the same filename with “_small.xxx” exists, system will use this small file for the thumbnails in the meeting list/calendar view
- If no “_small.xxx” file exists, system will use the filename specific for both the background and the thumbnail
- Ideal would be to have a full resolution image for background (ex. AUDIO.PNG) and a small version for thumbnail (AUDIO_small.PNG)
This way, when creating a new meeting using this Template, the Thumbnail will be assigned automatically.
You can also update each broken meeting that would have been created prior to the Meeting Template correction.
- When accessing a meeting through the scheduler, click on [Edit] on the bottom right corner
- Then go under [Advanced] and make sure the Thumnail URL is set properly and [Save]
When going back to the Meeting listing, the Thumbnail will be displayed accordingly.
