Our analytics feature is thoughtfully crafted to provide users with detailed insights, and we work closely with our customers to refine the configuration for optimal results. To ensure accuracy, we ask customers to provide a set of their public IP addresses or specify IP address patterns using regular expressions or CIDR notation.
Once these details are shared, we carefully configure filters to tailor the analytics, with a specific focus on external and Internal traffic parameters.
Breaking down our analytics views into three categories enhances the user experience. These filters can be viewed on Platform as follows.
- All Viewers:
- This view offers analytics without any filters, displaying data from all sources, whether it's from the internal or external network of the customer.
- No filters are applied, providing users with a comprehensive overview of analytics for all viewers.
- External:
- This view presents a filtered set of analytics, highlighting metrics that exclude traffic originating from the internal network and exclusively showcasing external user data.
- Filters are set up to exclude traffic from customer-owned public IP addresses or a specified IP range.
- Internal:
- This view focuses on analytics exclusively from the internal customer network.
- Configuration involves displaying data solely from the internal network, relying on customer-owned public IP addresses for accuracy.
